About Us

Based in the Midlands, surrounded by rolling hills and fresh air, Sallys came about in our family kitchen during the lockdown in 2020.

A need for good healthy whole foods could not be more important for our bodies. We need to boost our immune systems and eat less processed foods. I have been making granola for my family for many years. Having studied sports nutrition, and being a keen triathlete and long-distance cyclist, I understand the need for protein and fibre in our diets. It was my husband, Sean, who encouraged me to share the granola love with friends and family.

Meet the team


Owner, Baker, Teller & Creator

It was my Mom, aka “Ma Brown” and my blind Granny Gus who taught me how to bake. After travelling I came back home to South Africa where I met Sean – our Nut Counter. We are fortunate to have two awesome children, Dan and Stella. Sallys was created during lockdown. Thanks to the collaboration of our team, the business is growing wings.


Nut Counter

Sean, my husband, is the brains and finance behind Sallys. He juggles 3 jobs (in no particular order) – his main job is working in the transport industry, his second job is working at Sallys, filling in the blanks, and his third is being the best Dad our family could ask for. Sean even gets ‘stuck in’ by chopping and sorting the nuts when we have deadlines.


Assistant Baker & Teller

Lindo is a great asset. She is Mom to a young boy and a fur baby and was brought up on a farm, not too far from the factory. She has worked in the hospitality industry for many years as a waitress, where she got to help out in the kitchen. Lindo now preps and bakes our granola and always greets you with a smile.


Admin and All Sorts Assistant

Pat oversees the factory, takes care of supplies, and helps with online orders and deliveries, as well as bulk deliveries to restaurants in the area.  We would be lost without Pat’s help and eagerness to support our family business.
